Absolvo Consulting, a CEE- and tech-focused M&A advisory firm based in Budapest, Hungary, is looking for a Lead Generation and Social Media Specialist to support our high-growth pipeline and marketing initiatives across Central and Eastern Europe.
Position Overview:
As the Lead Generation and Social Media Specialist at Absolvo Consulting, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients and co-operation partners across the CEE region, conduct lead generation campaigns and other outreach efforts, manage the company’s CRM system, organise introductory calls and meetings. You will also have the chance to participate in our content generation activities, conducting focused researches about the PE/M&A landscape, niche technology market segments, etc.
This is a dynamic and diverse role that offers great exposure to the CEE tech and investor ecosystem – from startups to VCs and PEs, scaleups to strategic buyers. You’ll work closely with our advisors daily involved in business development and marketing and thus will gain a front-row seat to how leading tech companies grow and scale across the region.
Key responsibilities
🔍 Market research and Database management
- Build and manage databases of CEE-based scaleups, regional champions and other ecosystem players.
- Segment and upload data into the CRM system and keep it up to date.
- Identify potential client and decision-makers by industry or vertical, with guidance from the leadership and advisory team.
📞 Lead generation:
- Conduct outbound lead generation campaigns, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling, to generate qualified leads.
- Engage with prospects to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives, and connect them with members of the senior advisory team.
- Collaborate with the advisory team to develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns and follow-up strategies to drive engagement and conversion.
- Log all lead generation activities in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and business development Partner in the evaluation of lead quality and campaign effectiveness, and leverage marketing materials to support outreach efforts.
- Meet and exceed quarterly targets for qualified meetings and lead generation.
💡 Social media community and content management
- Manage outreach tools (e.g. LinkedIn, CRM and others) , organize partner collaborations and expert interviews.
- Edit, schedule and post video and other content based on the guidance from the Marketing Manager and the advisory team.
- Collaborate on creative campaign ideas.
- Support the creation of CEE tech industry and M&A related content and assist with website and other channel edits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in outbound lead generation (sales, business development, SDR, etc.) – preferably B2B
- (B2B) marketing content creation experience is an advantage
- Strong organizational and analytical mindset.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Creative and structured problem-solving attitude
- Interest or experience in the CEE tech / investment ecosystem is a big plus
- Experience with CRM, LinkedIn or any marketing or lead generation tools as well as video editing or content creation skills are an advantage, but not necessarily required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
